DEALFAST acquires and places works of art privately, between collections, without the exposure of the public saleroom.
THE MARKET
Auction is a powerful mechanism and a public one. It announces your interest, it invites competition against you, and when a work fails to sell it is marked for years afterwards. A private transaction protects both sides: the buyer is not bid up, and the seller is not exposed to a public result. The finest works have always moved this way.
OUR NETWORK
We work with collectors and their advisers, with estates and foundations, with restorers and specialists who know where a particular work has been sitting for thirty years, and with the small circle of dealers who transact rather than display. Confidentiality is what keeps this network open to us. We never disclose who holds what, and we never disclose who is looking.
WHAT WE VERIFY
Provenance traced as far as the record allows, with particular attention to the periods where gaps matter. Authenticity confirmed by the artist's foundation, committee or the recognised authority. Condition assessed independently, including previous restoration. Title, any restitution claim, export licensing and the tax position in both jurisdictions. If any of these cannot be resolved, we say so and we advise you not to proceed.
HOW WE ARE ENGAGED
Under written mandate, on either side. For buyers, we search to a defined brief of artist, period, medium, condition and budget. For sellers, we place the work quietly with a short list of qualified collectors, and neither party's identity is disclosed without written agreement.
