2. Scope
This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and what rights you have. It applies to visitors of this website and to persons who contact us or enter into a mandate with us.
DEALFAST operates internationally. We apply a single, consistent standard of protection to all personal data we hold, wherever it originates, and we comply with the data protection law applicable to each engagement. This includes, without limitation, Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (United Arab Emirates), Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) where we process the data of individuals located in the European Economic Area, the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection, and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions in which we act.
3. Personal data we collect
Data you provide directly. When you submit an enquiry, correspond with us, or engage us under mandate, we collect your name, email address, telephone number where you choose to provide it, the nature of your request, and any information contained in your messages or accompanying documents. Where a mandate proceeds, we may additionally collect professional details, company information, and the identification and source-of-funds documentation required for compliance checks.
Data collected automatically. When you browse this website, our hosting provider may record technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and time of visit, for security and performance purposes.
We do not knowingly collect special categories of personal data, and we ask that you do not send such data to us unsolicited.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process your personal data to respond to your enquiry and to assess whether we are able to assist you, on the basis of steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract. We process it to perform a mandate and to conduct the search, verification and introduction work it requires, on the basis of the performance of that contract. We process it to comply with our legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money-laundering, know-your-client and sanctions screening obligations, on the basis of compliance with a legal obligation. We process it to secure and improve our website and to protect our legitimate business interests, including the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, on the basis of our legitimate interests.
We do not use your data for automated decision-making producing legal effects, and we do not use it for profiling.
5. Confidentiality
Confidentiality is fundamental to our work. We do not disclose the identity of a client, the existence of a mandate, or the nature of a search to any third party except where strictly necessary to perform that mandate and with the client's prior agreement, or where required by law.
6. Recipients
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
Your data may be disclosed, on a strict need-to-know basis, to: our service providers acting as processors on our instructions, including our website host, email provider and customer relationship management platform; professional advisers bound by confidentiality obligations, including lawyers, notaries, accountants and technical experts appointed in connection with a mandate; counterparties to a transaction, but only with your prior agreement and only to the extent necessary; and competent authorities, where disclosure is required by applicable law.
7. International transfers
Because we operate internationally, your personal data may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United Arab Emirates, Switzerland and member states of the European Union. Some of these countries may not provide the same level of data protection as your own.
Where such a transfer takes place, we implement appropriate safeguards in accordance with applicable law, including the European Commission's standard contractual clauses or equivalent contractual protections where required. A copy of the relevant safeguards may be requested at the contact address above.
8. Retention
We retain enquiry data for twenty-four months from the last contact where no mandate follows. We retain mandate and transaction records, including compliance documentation, for the period required by applicable law and in any event for no less than five years from the end of the engagement. Data is deleted or irreversibly anonymised once the applicable period expires.
9. Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Access is restricted to persons who need it to carry out their duties, and all such persons are bound by confidentiality obligations.
10. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you; to request its rectification where it is inaccurate or incomplete; to request its erasure; to request the restriction of its processing; to object to processing carried out on the basis of our legitimate interests; to receive the data you provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; and to withdraw your consent at any time where processing is based on consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
To exercise any of these rights, write to contact@dealfast.eu. We will respond within one month of receipt of your request. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on it.
If you consider that our processing of your personal data infringes applicable law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in your country of residence or place of work.
11. Cookies
This website uses only the cookies strictly necessary for its operation and security. Where analytics or other non-essential cookies are used, they are placed only with your prior consent, which you may withdraw at any time through your browser settings.
